OUR STORY


Our Beginning

SYSTEMS & SERVICES (parent company) was established in 1990 as the original company with Dr. K.S Aggarwal as the proprietor.

He is the backbone and pioneer of what SS Filters is today. Retired as a senior scientist from BARC, his valuable and vast knowledge of over 40 years has laid the building block and foundation of this company.

  • SS FILTERS was incorporated in 10th April 2012
  • SS FILTERS is a SSI unit, MSME and ISO certified.
  • SS FILTERS has in-house facilities to manufacture filter cartridges, filter housings, filter holders and has the expertise in special filter development.

LOCATION & SETUP

  •  SS FILTERS is spread over a carpet area of 20,000 sq feet in Turbhe, MIDC in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra.
  • Our team strength includes 80 employees who are dedicated to their work.
  • Quality control check is headed by a separate department.
  • We are adequately geared to manufacture and supply filter products and equipment.

ORGANISATIONAL CULTURE (LIFE AT SSF)

We are very strict with our values and guidelines which form the basis of all the actions of our team members. Policies have been formulated and discipline is maintained at all times.
Each and every employee is important to the company. Based on different categories, the employees are awarded annually. To increase the knowledge and skill, we have different training programs like welding, ITI, email etiquettes etc.
Lot of activities are done through out the year like dental health check ups, yoga, marathon, celebration of birthdays, picnics etc.

CSR

At SSF, we believe that corporate success and social welfare are interdependent Our corporate social responsibility (CSR) philosophy is rooted in our own values and ideas, and we live these through our actions.

We have donated filters for drinking water to many schools, old aged homes, cancer patient hospitals via rotary and personally. We have extended our help and support to tree plantation drive.

We acknowledge the work done by NGO’s and strive to give our helping hand for their requirements. Spreading awareness through education amongst the less fortunate in life is a social cause that we are striving for. We are in the process of collaborating with more NGOs in future who work for the under-privileged children.

SSF CSR initiatives are rooted in our deep belief that businesses have a commitment and an inherent duty to give people a healthy and happier life.

Empowering society has been the core focus area of CSR. We regularly organize blood donation camp to help hospitals, health centres and other charitable medical centres deal more efficiently with blood shortages.

SS Filters in association with Rotary club of Navi Mumbai and NMMC blood bank did a blood donation camp on 5 th November’ 2022. There were 50 registrations out of which we collected 45 units of blood.
